Subject	How many of you recommend putting a clear gloss on cowls?

Message	Cowl grills that is.... I just bought a new cowl grill, and as quickly as they deteriorate, I was wondering how many of you out there have sprayed it with a protective clear coat. And if you have sprayed it, does it make a difference? Thanks for the input.
